Children

Our children make up almost 50% of the Church. They are a vital and integral part of our identity. We seek to involve them and facilitate them at all times and in every area of church life. Children are actively involved in our vision, worship, prayer and outreach strategies.

New River Church recognises the life and vibrancy that our children’s simple faith brings to the whole church. It is one of our central aims to release, develop and disciple this growing group of people within the church.

On Sunday mornings we have an all together time of worship before the children split into groups.

Group 1: Babies and Toddlers

We currently have a creche for babies and toddlers.

Group 2: Kids

We use the Bubbles series from the Scripture Union materials. Kids sing, dance,do quizzes and learn about the love,goodness and mercy of God.
